2008 RIDE & EVENT INFORMATION

Note: Check the time zone of the event so you'll not be arriving to early or late.

SCIENCE HILL BIKE NIGHT (2008) - Starts second Saturday in May at 5pm. and will be the 2nd Saturday of each month thereafter through October. Ride starts at 8pm. Events include burnouts, slow races. Vendors on site for food, drinks, t-shirts, etc. Prizes given away, plenty of great music and bikes! 

APRIL 19th-Carhartt 5th Annual Poker Run- Glasgow, KY

Carhartt will be having their 5th Annual Poker Run to benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. The ride is approximately 80 miles and lasting 2-3 hours. It will start at Carhartt Distribution Center and return there to draw the last card. There will be vendors, 50/50 pot, raffles, and BBQ available when you return. APRIL 26th-Pulaski Bike Ride-Somerset, KY

Sponsored by the Pulaski County Veterans. The ride starts from the Somerset VFW Post #269, located Just off Highway 80 East behind the BP Truck Stop on VFW Drive. May 3rd-Bethany Christian School Fun Run, Campton, KY

This will be a ride approximately 65 miles long, starting at Hwy 15 through Beattyville and Natural Bridge, Ending back at Bethany. We will havee a scavenger hunt and a people's choice award. May 3rd-CMA Run For The Son-Danville, KY

Christian Motorcyclists Association & El-Shaddai Charioteers invite you to their Annual Missions Benefit Run: Run For The Son 2008, Saturday, May 3, 2008. Registration begins at 10:30 A.M. at the Danville Wal-Mart parking lot in Danville Ky. Beautiful 100 mile ride starts and ends at Danville Wal-Mart. $10.00 Suggested Donation. May 17th-Motorcycle Relay-Run For Life-Somerset, KY
For those of you who are bike riders, and those of us who like to look at some sharp bikes, The TAYLOR'S SURVIVORS MOTORCYCLE RUN will be held on May 17th, at the Pulaski County Park. This is the 7th years of this event.
This event has grown each year. The registration begins at 10am at the park. There is a $10 per person entry fee. The ride begins at 11am. Upon their return a lunch of babeque, baked beans, cole slaw, desert and drinks will be served. This is followed by a drawing...1st place is $100, 2nd place is $50, 3rd place is $25. This is followed by another drawing. 1st ticket pulled gets 50% of the pot of gold, then drawings will continue until all prizes are given away. They had LOTS of prizes to give away last year. Plus, YOUR MONEY GOES FOR A WORTHY CAUSE!
This is fun for the bikers but also for us who don't ride but like to look. Also it is a great time for kids to play at the park and the kids like to look at the bikes more than grown ups do.

August 10th - Ride to Huber Winery - Starlight. IN

Hosted by The KY Red Knights and Raptors. Leaving at 10am from the McDonalds in Danville on Perryville Rd. Anyone that would like to ride let me know, we are taking Hwy 127 to US 60 to Louisville to I64 on in to the winery. There is also a restaurant there that is very good so come hungry. till then.

August 31st - Run For Pete's Sake Poker Run - Buckner, KY

The Run for Pete's Sake poker run will be this year in conjunction with the Wayne Peyton Memorial Run. All money raised at the event will benefit Hosparus, formerly Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville. The motorcycle/car cruise will be Aug. 31, with sign-in from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Wendell Moore Park on Hwy. 393 in Buckner, KY. Cost is $10 per person and a free t-shirt is available, while supplies last, with pre-registration. Door prizes, raffles, 25-cent refreshments will be available at the end of the day and 16 trophies will be awarded. The run will take place rain or shine and all modes of transportation are welcome.
